Vocal & Piano

Our show choir performance groups had an extremely sucessful four years and we look forward to more singing and dancing! Xtreme Momentum (grades 3-6) and Xcellence in Motion (grades 6-8) are 75 minutes long, with 30 minutes of voice lessons and 45 minutes of dance choreography. The groups will build a repertoire of songs as well as learning breathing exercises and diction drills to help build stamina in both voice and breathing while dancing. Additionally, the groups are invited to perform in and around the community during the year! Xtreme Momentum class offered: Tuesdays at 5:45 p.m.

Private voice lessons will include breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups with emphasis on diction, dynamics, range extension and tonal quality. A repertoire of various styles will be studied. Class will end each week with the student building a song collection. The students will have the opportunity to do 2 performances during the year. Private Piano Lessons

Private piano lessons are tailored to the individual student and his or her level (from beginner level onward). Scales, fingering and chords will be taught along with various styles of songs. Song styles will include familiar tunes to engage and energize the student who will have fun learning with songs that are already familiar! An end of the year recital will be performed.
